Floyd 'Doc' Buchanan
Floyd 'Doc' Buchanan will be inducted posthumously, as he passed away in 2015. Buchanan, the first superintendent of the Clovis Unified School District, was known as a 'champion of education.'
Phil Casey was a chief mechanic for more than 30 years. A graduate of Roosevelt High School, he is a nine-time winner of the United States Auto Club's national championship competition. In 2015, Casey was inducted into the Auto Racing Hall of Fame, now known as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame.
Kim Maher was a standout shortstop for the Fresno State softball team in the mid-1990's. An Olympic gold medalist in 1996, Maher left the Bulldogs as their all-time leader in home runs, RBI, runs and doubles.
Kevin Sutherland is a professional golfer who has made more than $23 million in his career. A former walk-on at Fresno State, Sutherland would become an all-American with the Bulldogs before turning pro in 1987.
1961-1963 Fresno City College baseball
The Fresno City College baseball team has won five state championships in its history, three of which came in consecutive years: 1961, 1962 and 1963. Coached by Len Bourdet, the Rams went a combined 75-25 in those seasons, defeating Cerritos to win the title in '61, Orange Coast to win the title in '62 and Long Beach City to win the title in '63.
