On Thursday, November 5th, the Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame welcomes its newest class of legends — the competitors, coaches, and champions who put our region on the map.

This year’s inductees include popular football sensation NFL quarterback Derek Carr, sailing champion Ruth Barcus, record-setting high school football coach Tom Casanova, legendary auto racing team owners Dennis and Teresa Roth, pro football team owner and philanthropist Bill Tatham, and the 1958 state junior college baseball champions, the Coalinga College Falcons.

We’ll also pay tribute to the late Cody Roberts, honored with the Harold Zinkin Sr. trophy for a lifetime spent investing in our youth.

This is our 67th year of celebrating local sports greatness — a tradition stretching back to 1959 — and we’re bringing it home to Valdez Hall at the Fresno Convention Center.
